For your consideration is this mid 1970’s early 1980’s vintage LARGE 4.50” long solid brass WILLOW PRODUCTS, DECATUR, ALABAMA jail/prison cellblock door key. The key is made out of solid brass and weighs approximately 2.20 ounces by itself and measures approximately 4.50″ long, 2.25” wide across the “bow” or top and 15/16” at its widest across the “blade” or the shaft of the key. Refer to description photos #8, #9, #10 and #11 to confirm the weight and size dimensions and for more details about what I have described. This vintage brass key is over 40 years old and has attained a beautiful smooth worn feel in the hand through years of service. The brass has developed a pleasant natural patina finish that can only be acquired by genuine age and use. The brass surface bears witness to previous usage with minor surface scratches but nothing you wouldn’t expect to find or want to see on an authentic piece of memorabilia like this. Refer to all the description photos to confirm the condition of the key and for more details about what I have described.
