Made in USSR. ———————————- Zenit-ET is a small-format single-lens reflex camera with manual exposure control and a built-in non-coupled selenium exposure meter, manufactured at the Belarusian Optical and Mechanical Association from 1982 to 1995 (?). A small number (61,069 units) were produced at KMZ. A total of about 3 million units were manufactured. It is a variation of the Zenit-10 and Zenit-11 cameras manufactured at the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant. To meet the needs of the population, the production of Zenit-E cameras was expanded not only at KMZ, but also at BelOMO (Vileika Zenit Plant). Later, BelOMO mastered the production of the Zenit-TTL camera with a semi-automatic exposure control. In 1981, KMZ began producing single-lens reflex cameras “Zenit-10” (and since 1982 – “Zenit-11”) – hybrid models using the body and shutter with a “non-rotating” shutter speed head from the “Zenit-12” (export modification of the “Zenit-TTL”) and an uncoupled selenium exposure meter from the “Zenit-E”. Production of a camera similar to the Krasnogorsk “Zenit-10” was launched at BelOMO under the name “Zenit-ET”. The main difference is that an “old” type body from the “Zenit-TTL” with a side tripod socket was used. The film rewind button is similar to that used on the “Zenit-10” (“Zenit-11”). In the mid-1980s, BelOMO mastered the production of the Zenit-ET with a push-button diaphragm drive and a standard Helios-44M lens — a direct analogue of the Zenit-11. In the mid-1980s, the Zenit-ET received a hidden rear wall lock. Since the late 1980s, a number of metal parts in the Zenit-ET design have been replaced with plastic ones, and the production of a model without an exposure meter has been mastered. BelOMO also produced a “laboratory” Zenit-ET (photo recorder), designed for microphotography — photography using an optical microscope. The difference from amateur cameras is the only shutter speed “B”, the absence of a self-timer, the absence of a pentaprism, the absence of an exposure meter. Sighting was carried out through a non-removable shaft with an eyepiece. The focusing screen is frosted glass. ———————————- The buyer will receive exactly the same item as in the photo.
