You are bidding on one matched pair of irons or blades or cutters for a metal bodied double spokeshave as pictured. Both irons are not marked.Width of each iron is about 1-1/2″. There are no holes for a mounting screw in either iron. Measuring from the upper corner to the lower corner on the same edge, length of the hollow iron is about 1-5/16″. The straight iron was sharpened on a skew (???), and measures about 7/8″ along one edge and about 1″ along the other. Condition of both irons is fair to good, with some light pitting mostly towards the top of each iron on the front side, and over much of the iron on the back side. The hollow iron needs a sharpening as it has an uneven edge. The straight iron is sharpened on a skew as noted. The Post Office now has several prices increases during each year, raising a few things but not everything at each increase. And they now raise their rates during the Holidays, which means early October to late January. Their big increases are in January, timed to start at the end of the Holiday rates, and this year is no exception. And it’s not just the postage rates, the insurance charges and the delivery signature charges have also gone up. There is now a surcharge for Priority Mail packages over 20″ long, and another for Priority Mail packages over 30″ long, because those longer packages won’t fit in their automatic machines. And the Post Office has discontinued the Regional Flat Rate boxes, which were often less expensive for certain sizes and weights. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based both on what is the least expensive and on what I think is needed to protect the item. If the value is $250 or over, eBay requires your signature at delivery for the buyer and seller protections to be in effect.SALES TAX: Interstate sales tax is now the reality on all the major selling websites including eBay.
