Notice the last picture in the gallery of photos and you will see the “relief groove” ground into the pinion gear just below the rotor. This is designed to help protect the cutter bar and allow this inexpensive pinion gear to shear off and be sacrificed. * Minimum PTO HP required 40 * Machine has 5 disc with 2 blades per disc. * Mechanical trip breakaway if you encounter a foreign object in the field. * Requires 1 hydraulic outlet from your tractor for lifting of cutter bar. * Weight 1015 lbs. * Fast repairs—— disassembly of the bar is not necessary thanks to removable rotor housings. * This machine uses the same cutter bar as the John Deere Frontier Series 50 disc mowers. * Machine comes with a 1 year manufacturers warranty against defects in material and workmanship. * NOTE: (9 ft. model shown in photos) Exact same mower except 2 less disc rotors.
