Here we have a delightful, new-old-stock, unused, very-vintage anthropomorphic Christmas-themed pair of salt and pepper shakers by Lefton (Japan.) Minty condition. Original stoppers in place, as is one “Made in Japan” label. We have lots of fabulous mid-century modern ceramic Christmas decor in our store, including lots of adorable pixies and elves. Vintage: circa 1950sMaker/Markings: unmarked Lefton/”made in Japan”Approximate extreme measurements: 4″ and 4.25″ tallCondition: Our photos show the condition best and are the most important part of the description. Please zoom in on all of them, and examine them carefully. Overall minty condition — very-vintage pieces with no signs of use or abuse. Very clean and fresh pieces, brightly colored, with no chips, cracks, scratches, crazing, stains, paint loss or any other signs of use. Original stoppers, which we didn’t attempt to remove, appear to be in minty condition as well. We almost always find at least a minor sign of use on vintage items, but we’ve come up with absolutely nothing on these. Should please even the most discerning collector.We consider funky odors (cigarette smoke, mildew, etc) to be an important part of a condition report.
