ONLY POSTING A COUPLE A DAY SO BOOKMARK ME FOR FUTURE REFERENCE. NOTE – no attempt has been made to polish, clean or otherwise make this knife more attractive for photos. Boker Limited Edition (#287 of 300) M4 Sherman Damasteel pocket knife. These were forged from M4 Sherman Tank parts by Chad Nichols in a Ladder Damascus style, meant to look like tank tracks left by the vehicle. Also incorporates a Rick Hinderer Lock-Stop and burlap micarta obverse scale designed to look like camouflage paint used by the Army and Marine Corps. Pivot screw designed to look like an M4 track sprocket. When Boker does something like this, have to admit they do a good job. Comes complete with an Olive Green Boker custom pouch with blaze orange interior. Measures approximately 4 inches long, closed at the longest points. Blade measures approximately 2 7/8 inches long, edge only. Beautiful Chad Nichols 80 layer ladder Damascus forged from World War 2 M4 parts. Obverse blade with raised inscription “M4 Sherman Damast”. Reverse blade with raised inscription “Boker Solingen”. Metal ambidextrous thumb stud looks like a track roller. Pivot pin deigned as M4 track sprocket. Burlap Micarta obverse scale. Frame lock design to reverse in age-stressed steel with steel spring clip. Tip-up. Serial number “287” (of 300) etched to frame. Olive green pouch with Boker tree stitching to the obverse. Interior with two pockets, Velcro loop and two storage pockets. Looked all over this knife and can find no wear, scratches, chips or other damage. Blade appears to be factory, as new.
