Pair of Vintage Reverse Hand Painted Sunset Rose Sateen Glass Bell-shaped Lamp Shades Pictures don’t do justice to these lovely hand-painted sateen finish glass bell-shaped lampshades. The colors are reminiscent of a sunset with pretty pinks and rich orange with green and other natural colors. The two shades mate beautifully but are not completely identical as they are hand painted. I suspect there was an outline blank of the pattern applied first that the artist could follow closely. Individual brush strokes of differing widths are readily seen, which I’ve also tried to show in the photos. “Bell” opening is 10″Top insert opening is approx. 1-5/8″ (please see photo). There is a small flat lip About 7-1/2″ tall Condition: Both these shades are in superb condition with no noticeable loss to the paint and no chips to the openings. Unknown exact age; I would describe them as “vintage” but not “antique”, if that helps. Condition as in photos and descriptions, this is the exact item you will receive. Please view photos carefully as I consider them an important part of the description.
